Stretching Routine Cheat Sheet 2020

View this post on Instagram

My last post was a video of me demonstrating a short flexibility routine that I do every morning. The whole thing takes less than 5 minutes. I normally do 10 reps for each movement. I should mention that I prefer (and recommend) counting deep breaths instead of just reps. This routine may look like Yoga to some. Think of it however you like. All I’m doing is trying to increase overall range of motion while also relaxing the body and mind. Depending on what my body needs (or perhaps, doesn’t want) I may add a few extras to my “morning flow” and if time is an issue, I may cut out something for that particular day. This post is a simple photo “cheat sheet” for anyone interested. Make sure to watch the last video. I tried to briefly explain each different movement. Inevitably, I’m certain I left a few things out. I always do. The point is to stretch your boundaries, explore new territory and have fun in the process. It does require work to take care of the body but it is always worth it. #bssbbooks #morningstretchroutine #morningflow #austinpersonaltrainer #austinpersonaltraining #austinpersonaltrainers #blueskystrongbox
