THE IMMUNE SYSTEM. When it’s all said and done, it’s all we got as protection against the outside world. This will NEVER change, even if times like these remind us more than ever. The same “things to do” for improving health also improve the immune system: Quality rest. Eating a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs, spices,etc. Regular exercise. Adequate hydration. Managing Stress. Managing stress is a vast subject. This may require professional help. Anything lacking or in excess could be interpreted as stress by the body. That could include something like too little or too much exercise, too little or too much time alone and too little or too much sunshine. The key here is balance, as with everything in life. Obviously extreme anger, fear, sadness and over-working could cause some very serious issues. One area not mentioned enough is breathing and oxygen. We obviously need it. So avoid things that cause unwanted interruptions in breathing, again things like unchecked anger and fear. Lastly, yes be careful with germs. Use common sense here. Obviously, eliminating germs altogether would be impossible and quite possibly even unwise. Too much is dangerous. Too little? This may be dangerous as well. Find a balance. Listen to your body. Take care of your health.
