The KETTLEBELL SWING rules, especially when learned correctly and practiced safely over time till form is refined and perfected. This does require time and effort. And with all this said, it’s not always a safe or great fit for everyone. Many of these clips were actually shot the very first time each person tried them. Form isn’t always perfect in the beginning so the weight should be light enough to allow safe practice till things progress. Pound for pound, this is my favorite exercise and what I believe to be one of the most beneficial exercises in existence. Attention to detail is a must. This cannot be stressed enough. #blueskystrongbox

Pull-ups are not easy for many. They take work. They are by no means necessary for health or longevity but they sure can help. And yes, women can do pull-ups too. For anyone interested, I recommend finding a regressed (doable) version and “practicing” variations of that daily in a patient and intelligent way. Think months not days or weeks. @lookitsgeorgia makes it look easy. #blueskystrongbox

TURN UP THE VOLUME. Today, real world logistics. Specifically, health & fitness, but this stuff could apply to anything and everything. The real world happens whether we like it or not. So Always keep things simple whenever possible: Make a decision (why, what, how, when) > Commit > Move on. Not everything will be perfect. It’s ok. Most often, doing something is better than doing nothing. Some stuff will prove to need much more attention than originally thought. Some of us will have to work much harder than others. Life will not always seem fair. Some days sewage will fall from the sky. The next day might be sunshine, puppy dogs and ice cream. Avoid unnecessary time-wasting by “practicing” self-discipline each and every day, building it up stronger over time. The mind is a muscle that needs strength training every day. #DisciplineMayBeTheMostImportantMuscleToTrain #blueskystrongbox
